On SMO FORUM,,
Andrea
Materia,
head of the manga section
MAGIC PRESS,
announced the publication of
Eikou no Napoleon - Eroica.
The manga, created between 1986 and 1995, is the detailed
reconstruction of the life of Napoleon. Even though it is not a
shojo manga, it is the real continuation of The Rose of Versailles,
of which it shares some characters.
The Magic Press will publish
the manga in
12 volumes.
Few months ago the
French Republic
awarded Riyoko
Ikeda with
the Légion
d'honneur
(Chavelier) title for her contribution in making known the history
and French culture through her work, in particular "Versailles
no Bara"
(The Rose of Versailles) and"Eroica".
